The Indian Institute of Management(IIM) has announced the online application for the Common Admission Test (CAT 2013) which is conducted for admissions of the candidates in 2 yr Post Graduate Programmes in Management(MBA).The online Registration for CAT 2013 will begins from 5 Aug and ends on 26 Sep 2013.

==>> CAT 2013 Exam Pattern & Syllabus:-There will be 2 Section in CAT 2013 exam and Total exam duration is 140 Mins

  • Quantitative ability and Data interpretation (QA & DI)
  • Verbal ability and Logical reasoning (VA & LR)

==>> CAT 2013 Selection Procedure:-

The process may include Written Ability Test(WAT),Group Discussions(GD) and Personal Interview(PI).Performance in CAT 2013 exam is an important component in the whole selection procedure.IIMs may use previous academic performance of the candidates,relevant work experience and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of the candidates ay various stages of the admission process.The processes, academic cut-offs and the weight allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs.

==>> CAT 2013 Cutoff Marks & Merit list:-  The cut-off marks and merit list for cat 2013-14 will be strictly based on the Written test conducted by CAT 2013 and on the academics performances,Interviews(GD) etc.Only those students are eligible for admissions to IIMs whose names are qualifying in Final Merit list of CAT 2013-14(Final merit list is based on ALL India Merit)
